What to write to us about

• Calculation errors or results that don't match your lender's figures. If you can, include the numbers you entered (price, down payment, rate, term and any taxes or insurance) so we can reproduce it.
• Outdated information in a guide, for example after a rule or program change.
• Suggestions for new features or topics you'd like us to explain.
• Privacy questions or requests about your rights, as described in our privacy policy.

What we can't help with

• Personal financial advice. We're not a lender, broker or financial advisor, so we can't recommend a specific loan or review your application. A HUD-approved housing counselor or a licensed professional can help with that.
• Your existing loan. We have no connection to any lender or servicer and no access to your accounts.

Please don't send personal documents (pay stubs, statements, IDs): we don't need them to answer you.

Response time

We read every message and usually reply within a few days. Corrections you send us are added to the relevant guide or calculator, with the update date noted.
